Alright, so BOOM; The Eagles were cooking with a 24-0 lead when the real action kicked off: Kendrick Lamar took center stage for the Super Bowl Halftime Show, brought to you by Apple Music. And let me tell you, this wasn’t just a performance; this was a full-on BEAST MOVIE.

Fresh off a five Grammy win, Kendrick came through with straight LA vibes, setting the

scene like a street version of Squid Games. The set? Gritty. Cinematic. Straight from the trenches. Samuel L. Jackson popped out as Uncle Sam to open the show, giving us that “tighten up” energy we all needed to hear.
Then, SZA slid through and ate! She joined Kendrick for their hits Lusther and All the Stars, proving once again that she never misses.

Kendrick kept it real with five songs from his newest album GNX, giving us four out of my top four faves (real ones know) plus HUMBLE and DNA.And when I tell you the blend and transitions were flawless? 10/10. He climbed on top of that GNX, he locked in Compton meets America energy.

And let’s talk about the corner boys, because they looked hyped to be there, bringing real authenticity to the whole performance. If you missed the guys scaling the light posts, you definitely missed some of the best details.
One of the coldest moments? Kendrick throwing shade with precision. He teased performing our favorite song but said, "You know they love to sue," making it clear he wasn’t about to give Drake any free promo.
Oh, and Serena Williams popped out too! She hit a few moves, reppin’ for Compton, California, because why wouldn’t she?

Kendrick closed it all out with “TV Off”, shutting the show down in the most poetic way possible. If you didn’t feel that, you wasn’t really tuned in. This performance was cultural. Cinematic. Legendary. Give Kendrick his GOAT status already.
