Santino Casio Speaks Out: “I Thought Tory Was Trying to Kill Me.

Word on the curb is that Tory Lanez’s prison stabbing wasn’t just some random act of jailhouse violence; it was personal. And now, the alleged stabber himself, Santino Casio, is telling his side of the story.

“I Thought He Put a Price on My Head" According to TMZ, prison calls reveal that Santino Casio isn’t denying the attack; he owned it. But what he is denying is that he ever tried to kill Tory Lanez. In fact, Casio claims he thought Tory was trying to off him. Yea (Im not trying hear that) the streets behind bars been talkin’, and allegedly, Casio heard rumblings that Tory wanted him gone, permanently.

Santino and Tory reportedly had some kind of jailhouse rapport, maybe even homeboy. But somewhere along the way, it got messy. Casio says he moved first out of self-defense; or so he claims.14 Stabs. Let That Sink In. Let’s talk numbers. Tory Lanez was stabbed 14 times

  • 7 times in the back

  • 4 to the torso

  • 3 to the head

That’s not a scuffle; that’s surgical. But even after getting hit like that, Tory stood 10 toes down. Rumor has it, Casio caught a stab wound to the leg in the mix; meaning Tory might’ve had something on him to defend himself. In a place where survival is the currency, nobody’s coming unarmed, especially if they feel like the target.

Tory’s Recovery & Return to Prison

Tory Lanez, despite the brutal attack, is alive and on the mend. After being rushed to a medical facility in Bakersfield, California, he’s now stabilized, breathing on his own, talking, and back at the prison. His attorney, Jose Baez, told TMZ, “Tory is upbeat. He’s in good spirits. He’s recovering. He’s a strong young man.”

Sources say he's expected to fully recover; Let’s be clear, that alone is a miracle after what went down. As for Casio, he's currently in restricted housing while prison officials conduct a full investigation. So far, no charges have been officially filed, but eyes are definitely on him.

Whether it was paranoia, survival, or something deeper — one thing’s for sure: Tory Lanez is lucky to be alive. And this just shows, even behind the walls, fame don’t make you untouchable.
