Lately, I’ve been thinking about how easy it is to get caught up in everything around you—chasing after things that seem like they matter in the moment. But when you stop, take a breath, and ask yourself, do I really need this? the answer is almost always no. If you needed it, it would move with you. You wouldn’t have to force it.
Everybody’s in love with the idea of love, but I’m realizing how crucial it is to fall in love with yourself first. Inside and out. Love yourself enough to have those deep, real conversations with you. Check in with yourself. Take yourself out to a restaurant and enjoy that bomb food alone. Book that solo trip. You’ll find out quick that no one is really moving on what you’re on.
Stop settling for what you think you want just because it’s in front of you. What’s meant for you is out there, but you won’t find it until you level up your internal game first. Focus on you.
