Now, they ain't a duo, but when they link up in the studio, magic happens. I’ve been hyped about their latest track for a minute now, and after hearing it, I can confidently say it’s top-tier music.
When it comes to emerging indie R&B Soul talent, Hemmingw8y is a name y’all need to know. I first crossed paths with Hemmi right here in Atlanta, GA, and trust me, this guy is bringing something fresh to the scene. But hold up, we can't forget about the annoyingly attractive and super talented AyoRashawn.
The video kicks off with a sick shot of the Atlanta skyline. I knew it was ATL right away—
peeped the Benz Stadium in the background. But when the scene cut to Hemmi in front of the student union building, I knew we were in for a show. The opening was fire, with the coolest student getting the first invite to the party. And let’s be real, who’s the best person to invite to your party first? Yours truly, of course!
Watch closely, and you’ll catch Hemmi’s real personality shining through—he doesn’t play when it comes to his guest list. He’ll take that invite back if you’re not on his level, no doubt.
Hemmi’s swag was on full display, name-dropping Gucci, Louis, and Prada, and letting everyone know he’s on their heels. More students started popping up, but their invites were met with some side-eye—are these dudes for real? That’s when AyoRashawn showed up out of nowhere, hitting Hemmi with a secret handshake that was too smooth.
But here’s where things get wild—why did they try to hand an invite to the emo kids and end up almost getting their asses beat? That run-off scene had me rolling! Ayo, dropping his bag was just the icing on the cake.
Now, it’s time for the party scene. AyoRashawn walks in like the coolest kid in school, but let’s be honest, thats normaly his vibe anyway. His verse and the whole setup were just so him—the red cups, the pan-in, it was all perfectly executed. and the moments get better when one of my favorite dancers @vanillaspiceofficial came in turning the party up. Mannnnnn such a great production with greater people. This video’s gonna be stuck in my head like them Ethics y’all wear everday—Ayo said it, not me.
